ASUS Transformer Pad TF300TL

·

LTE packing tablets have existed for a while now, but there are some models out there we’d like to see offering this type of connectivity. The first model that comes to mind is the Nexus 7, but the Transformer Pad TF300 is also on the list. The latter has been upgraded to a LTE version that has just been announced by ASUS, under the moniker Transformer Pad TF300TL.
The specifications are pretty much the ones of the TF300, meaning the device uses a quad core Tegra 3 processor and a 12 core GeForce GPU, plus a 10.1 inch WXGA display with Full HD video ability. TF300TL packs an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.2 megapixel front shooter. The back cam has a 5 element lens, that offers it support for 1080p HD video and decent pics. ASUS offers the product in two versions, a 16 GB one and 32 GB one. The battery life provided here is 9 hours, that’s actually good for a LTE tablet.
The suggested price tag for the new model is $499, as the starting price for the 16 GB model. ASUS will perform the launch on AT&T with data plans and you should know that pricing and availability will vary in different regions. The separate mobile dock is priced at $149 and gives the device 3 more hours of battery life.
